Department Vision:
To impart the best technical education instilled with discipline, values and leadership qualities that will produce highly skilled and innovative professionals in the field of computer applications, who can contribute towards the development of the society and the nation.

Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs):
On successful completion of PG in Computer Applications, the graduates will be able to:
- Pursue professional career in the domain of Computer Applications in industry or academia.
- Practice software engineering approaches to solve real world concerns and develop software to meet user’s requirements in a multi-disciplinary environment

Programme Outcomes (POs):
On successful completion of PG in Computer Applications, The graduates will be able to:
- PO1: Computational Knowledge: Ability to apply knowledge of computing fundamentals, mathematics, and domain knowledge appropriate for the computing specialization from defined problems and requirements
- PO2: Problem Analysis: Ability to Identify, formulate and solve complex computing problems using fundamental principles of mathematics, computing sciences, and relevant domain disciplines
- PO3: Design /Development of Solutions: Ability to Design and evaluate solutions for complex computing problems, that meet specified needs with appropriate consideration for public health and safety, cultural, societal, and environmental considerations
- PO4: Conduct investigations of complex Computing problems: Ability to Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and the information to provide valid conclusions.
- PO5: Modern Tool Usage: Ability to Create, Select, adapt and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern computing tools to complex computing activities, with an understanding of the limitations
