Events & Activities
Department of CSE regularly conducts symposiums, workshops, seminars, guest lectures and training programs for students and faculty. The details of all the events conducted are listed below.
Symposiums
The Department conducts a National Level Technical Symposium for the students every year.
We invite an expert in computer science as the chief guest and conduct contests in Paper presentations, Poster Presentations, Technical Quiz, Code Debugging, etc.

Seminars
Seminars are being conducted regularly for 3rd and Final Year students to make the students confident and improve the presentation skills. Each students of 3rd year must give two seminars per semester. Final year students must give 3 seminars in IV Year I Sem.
Training Programs
Infosys Campus Connect ( ICC)
III Year students are getting benefited through this programme. Through ICC, the curriculum is designed by the Infosys. Students will be trained in DBMS, Java, Web Technologies & SE. Online assessment tests will be conducted by Infosys, the students who performed well will get certificates, which will be very useful for them in getting job in Infosys.
Campus Recruitment Training (CRT)
IV Year Students are getting benefited through this programme. It is a certification program. Online training is being provided by Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Center.
.The Dept of Computer science & Engineering conducted workshop on GAMIFICATION WITH AR & VR under APSSDC on 28,29th September & 1st October 2019.In the workshop total 100 students participated in workshop.
Organized a One -Day Seminar on “ENTREPRENEURSHIP AS A CAREER CHOICE” on 26/12/2018 by Dr P.Chenna Reddy , Professor of CSE, Director, Skill Development Center and Incubation Center, JNTUA, ATP.The aim of this Seminar was to give awareness of Entrepreneurship as a career choice among students.
Organized a 5 Day-Workshop on “Hands-on Training : MS Word and Excel ” for all Lab Assistants from 12/12/2018 to 16/12/2018 by Mr. N.Venkatesh Naik , Assistant Professor, Dept of CSE,GATES Institute of Technology,Gooty. The aim of this Workshop was to train the Lab Assistants from all departments.
Conducted a 3 Day-Workshop on “CYBER SECURITY –HANDS ON PRACTICE” for II,III & IV CSE APITA registered students from 26/09/2018 to 28/06/2018 by APITA Trainers Mr Surendranath & Mr Phani kumar from ESF LABS. The aim of this Workshop was to train the students in areas of Cyber security concepts.
Organized a 2 Day-Workshop on “TRAINING PROGRAM on LATEX” for faculty from 19/09/2018 t0 20/09/2018 by Mr R.Satya Rajendra Singh & S.Rizwan. The aim of this Workshop was to train the faculty in LATEX so that it will be useful for them in research to prepare standalone document preparation system and write documents that include complex math expressions.
Organized a Workshop cum training program on Java Programming a way to software world for III CSE A & B on 28/07/2018 by Siva Prakash Reddy Malakathala, Technical Head, Nokia Software Solutions. The aim of this Workshop was to train the students in core areas of java programming and python programming.
