- IEI Student Chapter:The CSE department proudly hosts an active student chapter of the Institution of Engineers (India) (IEI). This chapter provides a valuable platform for students to engage with the engineering profession beyond the classroom. Through workshops, seminars, guest lectures by industry experts, and technical competitions, the IEI student chapter fosters practical skills, enhances technical knowledge, and promotes professional development. Members gain access to networking opportunities with established engineers, explore diverse engineering disciplines, and develop leadership and teamwork skills. The chapter actively encourages participation in IEI events at the local and national levels, connecting students to a broader community of engineers and preparing them for successful careers in the field. There are 61 student members for CSE department IEI Student Chapter.
- CSI Institute membership: Department of Computer Science and Engineering maintains an institutional membership with the Computer Society of India (CSI), providing a wealth of resources and opportunities for both faculty and students. This membership fosters a strong connection to the broader computing community and facilitates access to the latest advancements in technology and research. Students gain access to a vast network of computing professionals, career resources, and opportunities to participate in technical events and competitions. The CSI institutional membership enhances the department's ability to provide a comprehensive and cutting-edge education, preparing students for successful careers in the ever-evolving world of computer science and information technology. - CSI Student Chapter: The Computer Society of India (CSI) student chapter, hosted by our Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department, is an active community for students passionate about IT. This chapter acts as a bridge between classroom theory and real-world application, offering students the chance to go beyond their regular coursework. Through a variety of events like workshops, technical talks by industry experts, hackathons, and coding competitions, we provide a platform for students to sharpen their skills and stay current with emerging technologies. Being a member not only helps you build a strong professional network but also enhances your career prospects, preparing you for a successful future in the IT industry. The CSI student chapter currently has 90 student members.
