IEI Membership:
The ECE Department proudly supports an active student chapter of the Institution of Engineers (India) (IEI). This professional body offers students an excellent opportunity to connect with the engineering community beyond academic learning. The chapter organizes workshops, technical seminars, expert talks by industry professionals, and various technical events to strengthen students’ practical knowledge and professional competencies. Through active participation, students enhance their technical expertise, communication abilities, leadership qualities, and teamwork skills. Members also benefit from networking opportunities with experienced engineers and exposure to emerging trends across different engineering domains. The chapter motivates students to participate in IEI activities conducted at regional and national levels, helping them build professional confidence and career. Currently, the ECE Department IEI Student Chapter has 50 student members.
